“A Family Affair”

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible, all applicants must comply with the following:    

• · Applicants must submit a copy of their Letter of Acceptance from an accredited 2 or 4 year College or University or an accredited Trade School program.
• · Applicant must be a member of the Williams-Norris-Padgett-Jennings Families.

Procedure to apply:

• · Completed application and Personal Statement may be submitted electronically at ww1234ave@gmail.com or mailed to the Chairperson of the Gift Committee, William Askew, 1731 N. 59th Street, Philadelphia, PA19151. 
• · Applications must be received July 15 of the graduating year. (The Committee may at its discretion review and or adjust the deadline).
• · Application can be accessed via wnpj.simplesite.com.

Notification of awardees and gift amounts:

• · All awardees will receive notification during the month of August of the graduating year. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by August 31, of the graduating year.

Gifts will be awarded on the availability of funds.

Conditions and Requirements: The Educational Gift from the Williams-Norris-Padgett-Jennings Families will be restricted to incoming freshmen only. A copy of the applicant’s Acceptance Letter to an accredited College or University or Trade School must be submitted with the application or produced to the Committee prior to the release of the gift. Note: All information submitted and collected as a part of the application process for the Williams-Norris-Padgett-Jennings Family Education Gift will become the property of the Gift Committee. All information will be kept confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of assessing and evaluating applicants.
