If anyone has late registrations, they must phone me ASAP.
There will not be a golf outing UNLESS you would like to play in the afternoon.
Remember, the boat ride is only $12.00 and not $35.00.

The Educational Gift from the WNPJ Families is available
for incoming college freshmen only. Applicant must be a member of the WNPJ Families. They must submit a copy
of their Letter of Acceptance from an accredited College or University and submit a Personal Statement. Applications

Congratulations to all those who have graduated from pre-kindergarten through College! Continue to build on your achievements and successes. The most difficult part of the climb is when you are just at the top. Keep your eyes on the sparrow…for GOD can use you to your full potential, besides you aren’t the message, you are just the messenger. And remember, “Yes We Can”
RAFFLE
The raffle winners were Earl Britt of Newark , NJ who won the digital camera; Retha Hagel of North Highlands , CA who won the laptop computer; and Cornelius (Henry)/Faye Askew of Miami, FL who won the 32” high definition television. Congratulations winners!
The raffle details were as follows:
Total # of tickets sold: 200
Total proceeds earned: $1795.00 (discounts included)
Total cost of items in raffle: $1296.96
Total cost shipping, handling and insurance: $131.59
Net Proceeds: $366.45
Our goal was to sell 300 tickets and came up a little short, but we truly thank you all for your support, especially those that sold tickets.

We are very proud of Keita as she will be graduating with a 3.25 GPA.
Keita was recognized by the National Honor Society and received a Certificate of Invitation in recognition of excellence, extracurricular involvement and leadership potential from the Board of Directors and Honorary Board of Advisors at a 2007 Lead America Conference.

Keita gave back to her community by donating her time and services by installing new plumbing in different homes on the Lower Eastside of Bridgeport,

. Keita applied to five (5) Colleges and was excepted by them all, but she has decided to remain in

Diane Gilman has set up an exciting opportunity for family and friends to enjoy Sea Kayaking on the
Beautiful
Coast
of
Maine
leaving directly from
Thomas
Point
! No experience is necessary. Participants can choose to Explore on their Own or Join in on a Guided Tour in single or two person kayaks.
You can save $ with two people.
Due to tides, all kayaking begins at

Beach
Guides from Seaspray Kayaking will provide instructions and equipment. Kayaks will be both Recreational (very stable and roomy) and ocean (longer and faster). The two person kayaks are equipped with rudders, allowing beginners the option of steering with their feet. It is usually very comfortable paddling on the Coast of
Maine
in July, but it is always good to bring a fleece top and/or windbreaker, just in case the temperatures dip in the evening. We also recommend water shoes, a water bottle, sunblock, bug spray and a camera. The water temperature will be around 70 degrees.
