Well we're movin on up, To the east side. To a deluxe apartment in the sky. (Lyrics from the Jeffersons TV show's theme song) ------- Sam Davis' steadfast leadership and unhearalded time developing this website; Ted Staples' conscientious efforts to get it right with the family tree book; Michael Askew's creative touches with the newletters. These three family members have put in many hours to elevate all facets of this family reunion thing to the level of a deluxe apartment in the sky. Keep up the good work.

The family newsletter is about to go out. If you have any thing that you would like to submit, Friday is the deadline. I still have a whole page.

I'm just loving it!

John Staples, in view of Friday night's earthquate in the San Francisco Bay area with a magnitude of 4.0, you might want to check with a seismologist to see if you should add "Earthquate" to your upcoming agenda for the reunion. (just joking)

Just taking a little time to prepare the family for the "California Family Affair" 2010. Looking for your interest in things you will like to do. Be prepared if attending the climate is 50 degrees all year round. So bring a jacket for early moring and late evening activities. Will be sending a temporary agenda soon. Also Mike get up the good work. John

Thanks for the photos Sam. I am Christine Bowens granddaughter and 1998 was her last family reunion. She past away in November the same year. She had a blast that weekend. We danced and laughed and I am so grateful to have been there. I see a photo of my mom too! Made my day!!

It has been almost two months since the reunion and I'm still on a natural high from the rebonding with family members. I always feel uplifted and my spirits reenergize after a reunion and the Maine reunion was no exception. Reunions are precious to me and I'll sell my golf clubs if necessary to make it to the Oakland reunion in 2010. Family, with god's blessings I will see you in Oakland if not sooner.
